Does the hype generated by the most important event in the videogame industry is actually a good thing for the gamers?
That's the question. I was thinking about during the last days after the last postponed games by the most important Software House in the scene.
Years ago, the E3 was rapresenting a sneak peak with one-year view of what the players will play. A sort of muscle test, where software house were going to reveal the short term new brands or episodes that the player could start to play before the next E3 will start.
But now looks like the rule are changed.
Last E3 will be known for the presentation of the next generation consoles. To show how good and how fast you should by the consoles, Sony and Microsoft showed a great list of titles that will be available in the "next few months".
But time has passed, and the good games released can be count on the fingers of one hand (Titanfall, Infamous Second Son, Watch Gods (with its high and low))...
The disappoint is big.
Let's hope that this E3 will be not only rich of promises, but just full of reality.
